"Let's Play Some NSFW Demos!" O&T Posts

Welcome to the first installment of the Let's Play Some NSFW Demos! | LPSNWD series!
Something I should have seen coming, YouTube took my video down, so I compressed it into a ZIP file and uploaded it to Google Drive. To download 20250213 - LPSNWD 1, click here. After a while, I take them down to make room, so snag them while you can.

For those who are new, I aim to introduce gamers to, usually, Indie games and to provide commentary and feedback on the games for educational purposes! However, BECAUSE they are NSFW, there will be content warnings.

The reason for showing NSFW games is to break the stigma. There's sexual content in books, movies, comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, and other forms of media and entertainment, so, of course, it belongs in games as well. If you don't think adult themes belong in games because you think games are for kids, I HIGHLY suggest unpacking the belief.

The other reason I'm showing NSFW games is because I don't like censorship of things that are harmless but are being challenged because they make people uncomfortable. You not liking something means YOU don't engage with it. It doesn't give you the right to tell everyone else, "No."

RULES!

Typically, there are 4 demos. Each demo gets 30 minutes, not including the adjustment of settings and character creation. I might up it to 5 and/or play a great game for longer if there are technical issues. Also, no plagiarism laundering, aka. AI's spit.

To avoid triggering people, I avoided games that include rape, or as people who don't want to be demonetized by certain platforms put it, due to censorship, "non-consensual sex". There are a myriad of reasons as to why it would show up in games, just like it shows up in other forms of media, but I'm not showing it here.

The 4 demos I played for your enjoyment are:

1. Futariuum's Gate - Early Access Game
   Experience stunning hand-drawn erotic scenes, deep writing and thrilling battles in Futariuum’s Gate, a story-focused visual novel, engaging deck-building card battler and roguelike RPG! Follow Maya, a well-hung futanari demon hunter and total slacker as she brings balance to Earth!
   CONTENT WARNING: All characters in this game are adults aged 18 or over and all scenes and encounters are entirely consensual. Mature themes in the story include mental illness, social anxiety and abandonment. Frequent profanity is present in the script, as well as sexually explicit dialogue. Violence is present in the script and dangerous combat is described accurately.
2. IN HEAT: Lustful Nights - Early Access Game
   Tired of your current job? Are you missing the thrill that made you truly appreciate life? The Diamond Straits has just what you have been looking for! Experience our many resorts, while getting a big paycheck at the same time. Work hard enough and you might just earn a VIP EXPERIENCE of your own!
   CONTENT WARNING: All characters depicted are over the age of 18. This game contains depictions of consensual as well as some slight non-consensual female-on-male sexual content. This content can be turned off with alternative content being available. Depending on the active Level, themes such as prostitution, drug use, and BDSM may be present.
3. Karryn's Prison - Available
   Control the confident, sexy Karryn as she becomes the new Chief Warden in the notorious all-male prison in this RPG. Go manage the prison and its inmates, but can you also manage Karryn's ever rising desires? Experience the true adult game that fully marries adult elements into all gameplay!
   CONTENT WARNING: Karryn's Prison is an eroge with explicit sexual content intended for adults only. Sexual Themes include: Single female consensual sex with multiple male partners; Open, friendly attitude towards promiscuous women; Sexual relations with non human fantasy species such as goblins, orcs, etc etc [Other Themes:] Alcohol usage in the bar; Drug usage.
4. Lustful Chemistry - Available: Q2 2025
   To prove to the world her geniality, Sibela has created a lewd serum capable of releasing all creatures' horniness. However, she is not the only one with this goal; a rival has shown her way. Can you help Sibela earn the title of the biggest slut scientist on the planet?
   CONTENT WARNING: All characters depicted in this game are adults. The game contains female and male nudity, violence, and pornographic scenes between fantasy characters and monsters. This game contains highly explicit sexual content that is intended for adults only.

With all that out the way, here are my quick opinions, via the "Layered Compliment Sandwich":

Futariuum's Gate has an interesting introductory story, but the graphics shown during said story were boring. I was tempted to skip multiple times to get to the action (I understand why your mind might be in the gutter and you need to get it out). This is a game about Demon Hunting! Getting back to the introduction, why couldn't we see the courtroom? Why couldn't we see the judges? Why are there so many typos? The art was great, even if it contradicted what was being described by the story, which I pointed out. One thing I didn't point out was how bad the "armor" was. Even when the woman has a dick, they still wanna show everything like, a man wouldn't have that covered for OBVIOUS reasons. Getting back to the demon hunting, normally I would be complaining about the lack of guidance, and I kinda was, but the combat was pretty easy to figure out. Well done, there! 

  IN HEAT: Lustful Nights gave me Five Nights at Freddy's vibes. I'll admit, I've never played the game, because I watched people play and it terrified me. However, I've watched enough people play it to be confident in the comparison. Instead of trying not to get killed, you're trying not to make sure the prostitutes you're watching over get the job done. You stay in one room and hop around cameras to make sure everyone gets to where they need to be and stays operational. It relies a little too much on memory and more guidance was necessary. The tutorial portion didn't advise what to do when a room became a crime scene. And, if you haven't watched the video, this will be weird, they didn't tell me how to use the phone. The phone would ring, I would look at it, and it would keep ringing. Was I supposed to go to the one on the wall? If so, why wasn't there an indicator? Ending on a positive note, the art style was great! 

  Karryn's Prison was a pleasant surprise! Even though I had no expectations going in. I picked it because of the art and the fact the description said the sex was consensual even though we're running a prison. I HAD to see how that would work! The "character customization" is unique in the fact it foreshadows. Finding out how we start running the prison was the BIGGEST surprise, and a bit of an insult, so I understood why Karryn didn't wanna do it initially. And, if she was the Emperor's personal bodyguard, why was she being called the Imperial Secretary? To downplay her talents so she wasn't underestimated? That's not a bad idea, actually... The combat is a bit confusing because we didn't really get to play around with it. We ended the fight with one hit. But the fact we have a resources management game with erotic scenes? The art caught my attention, but the premise made me want to keep playing. 

  Lustful Chemistry was as funny as I expected it to be and I need to apologize again. It, technically, broke my rule. And it took some thinking for me to realize why I didn't catch it. When I made the "No Rape Included" rule, what I had in mind was the violent rape we sometimes see, or is alluded to. The last thing that needed to happen was to show a game that made us watch such a scene. This game made me decide to shift the rule to be more specific about what I mean. Did this game technically break the rule? Absolutely, and, again, my apologies, but I don't regret it because it's a learning opportunity.

For someone who already has a strong grasp of consent, someone shooting a serum at someone to unlock another person's horniness to get all the sex they want is a ridiculous notion to the point of being funny. We can laugh it off because it's fake, a fantasy, and doesn't really mean anything. But what about someone who doesn't see spiking someone's drink as a problem? What about someone who goes up to the bar to grab more drinks in the hopes they get lucky? THAT is what I want to address in games like this going forward. If the person has a healthy mindset around consent and sex, then this game won't desensitize anyone. Anyone who plays a game like this and doesn't see why it's problematic is problematic themselves. Manipulating someone into sex is rape. If you don't know that, you have some unpacking to do. If you're aware of that, then play away and have a laugh! 

Getting to the game, if you've been watching my other Let's Play Some Demos! | LPSD videos, you know I LOVE pixel art! And this game didn't disappoint! HOWEVER, I asked this once; I asked this too many times, why does the university look like that? Why is it a giant, platforming facility with roses growing into the walls? I will admit the roses are a nice touch. Why does the university have a bunch of robots rolling or flying around trying to kill you? Why are there mini cannons shooting fire at you? Why are all the students trying to kill you when they see you? Before you had even done anything? Why are there fast-moving plants running around trying to kill you? Being able to fuck the plants was a surprisingly pleasant surprise. And, of course, the women would be the most difficult people to... seduce? Getting at the gameplay, I should have checked to see if I could change the controls. Z to shoot, X to jump, C to change weapon type, and moving with the arrow keys was difficult for me. What would be better would be Moving with WASD, Jumping with Space, Shooting with F, Sex with T, and Switching Weapons with E. Or, at the very least, being able to pick it for ourselves. Otherwise, fun game! 

 Overall, I want all of them, to my surprise, and they are on my Steam wishlist!
