"Let's Play Some NSFW Demos!" O&T Posts

Welcome to Part 4 of the Let’s Play Some NSFW Demos! | LPSNWD series! Since YouTube is going to take my video down, and WordPress wants me to pay a subscription to Embed the video into the post, I compressed it into a ZIP file and uploaded it to Google Drive. The reason for showing NSFW games is to break the stigma around sex. There's sexual content in books, movies, comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, and other forms of media and entertainment, so, of course, it belongs in games as well. If you don't think adult themes belong in games because you think games are for kids, I HIGHLY suggest unpacking the belief.

The other reason I'm showing NSFW games is because I don't like censorship and things being challenged because they make people uncomfortable. You not liking something means YOU don’t engage with it. It doesn't give you the right to tell everyone else, "No."

RULES!

Typically, there are 4 demos. Each demo gets 30 minutes, not including the adjustment of settings and character creation. I might up it to 5 and/or play a great game for longer if there are technical issues. Or a demo finishes before the timer goes off.
And NO AI's spit, aka. plagiarism laundering.

To avoid triggering people, I avoided games that include violent rape, or as people who don't want to be demonetized by certain platforms put it, due to censorship, "non-consensual sex". There are a myriad of reasons as to why it would show up in games, just like they show up in other forms of media, but I'm not showing them here.

I will, however, learning from the Pilot episode, show games that downplay their "non-consensual sex" by making it funny and explaining why doing so could be problematic and cause some issues with those who do not have a strong understanding or grasp of consent.

The 4 demos I played for your enjoyment are:

1. Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them by Sad Panda Studios - Available
   A Visual Novel with a twist - improve skills, charm girls, and learn dangerous secrets... by any means necessary.
   CONTENT WARNING: Hush Hush contains some some dark themes as well as non-explicit sexual content. It contains content that is not for all ages, such as partial nudity, sexual themes, and strong language. All characters involved are over the age of 18.
   There is a criminal gang who sell and abuse alcohol and drugs. There are two scenes that includes references to this drug abuse.
   An historic incident of abuse is discussed in the game, but not shown.
2. Star Knightess Aura by AuraGamedev - Available
   Follow Aura's adventure as she is thrust into the fantasy world of Roya. What she initially believed to follow the conventional plotline of a "summoned to another world"-story quickly turns into her worst nightmare.
   CONTENT WARNING: Contains textual references to sexual acts, strong language, and consumption of abusive substances.
3. Tales of Legendary Lust: Aphrodisia by Crimson Delight Games - Coming Soon To Early Access
   ToLLA is an adult-fantasy adventure inspired by D&D and Baldur's Gate, with a deep focus on roleplaying and erotic art. Explore the magical world of Hortus, solve quests, loot treasure, sleep with women, build your party, and grow your personal harem by seducing girls from many fantasy races!
   CONTENT WARNING: Tales of Legendary Lust: Aphrodisia features explicit sexual acts between adult characters of various fantasy races (demi-humans, elves, halflings, dwarves, orcs, goblins, demons, etc.), and passing references to alcohol. The game's content is intended for a mature audience.
4. Tropical Monster Girls by Sweet Cakes Games - Available: June 2025
   Build relationships and homes with sexy monster girls while you fight to survive. After your ship was raided, you find yourself on a mysterious island. Gather materials, craft weapons and tools. Decorate & build your home. Let your desires be fulfilled in ways only monster girls can.
   CONTENT WARNING: The game has adult themes, language, and fiction characters depicted in sexual situations.
   All characters depicted are over the age of 18. The game nude women, men, sexual acts and kinks, and unwanted sex.

With all that out the way, here are my opinions, via the "Layered Compliment Sandwich":

Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them had the most interesting and confusing concept. Two deities are sending you to help save 5 people by any means necessary. You could be an absolute asshole to them if you chose, as long as you got the secrets they were holding and saved their life. Why? Why do these deities care? Two of the people are incredibly cool, one after further interaction, but... why? I would imagine getting their secrets would explain, but it doesn't say why. Now, points, saying no to helping had an funny reaction, but refusing to assist is THE LOGICAL CHOICE! Why is helping them important? I'm story driven, so, of course, I would ask these questions. If you don't care, then, and I mean it, lucky you. Have fun. My biggest bitches I already said in the video. The art and character design are great!

Star Knightess Aura had me at the game's description and it proceeded to not disappoint. Until it did. The hero, a brunette with glasses, was turned into a blonde who did not need glasses. WHY? I thought she was attractive before the change? The change made her look generic and said a LOT about the developers, like they align themselves with the Western beauty standard for attractiveness. OR they know that's how their audience aligns, so they cater to them. The little bit of stealth was amusing! The combat was fun! The bit in the beginning where using certain moves cost HP, because there was no MP yet, was unique! But, since had to end after 30 minutes, I have no idea if we're about to get knocked back to level 1 after an ass woopin' or if we stay really high level and move slowly through the Demon King's domain. I'm looking forward to finding out!

Tales of Legendary Lust: Aphrodisia became the reason why I couldn't put this on YouTube. I got lucky with not needing to for Part 3. The streak was bound to break and I'm not complaining, much, about which one it was. The art was fan-fucking-tastic, even if it had me rolling my eyes. It says a LOT about the developers/artists that they decided the Player Avatar would be the default, muscular white guy. And the first sexual encounter was with a large chested, big hipped, white woman. Uh huh. It said a LOT about the developers, like they align themselves with the Western beauty standard of whiteness being the default for attractiveness. OR they know that's how their audience aligns, so they cater to them. The voice acting was a pleasant surprise, until it became annoying. If they're about to say the same thing they said not two seconds ago, it doesn't need to be said again. Also, the "sex scene" was, for me, too much reading. An animated scene would have been better. But the art was fantastic. Even when it didn't make sense to the story.

Tropical Monster Girls ended up being the most fun AND the most problematic, which shouldn't have been a surprise given the game's description. It reminded me of Tinkerlands, with the ability to build a home and then invite others to live in it with you. And have people attack/surround your home at night. And attack you if they ever get in the house. The lack of consent from the person who was supposed to be an ally was the first switch. The rape by goblins if they get your HP to 0 was the next. Leveling up the allies who live with you, and giving them a name, was another. Props to cleverness. Problematic as fuck, but clever. Of course, the goblins aren't going to kill you because it's more effective to traumatize you, repeatedly, instead. Domestic abusers think in a similar way, in case you didn't know. They know EXACTLY what they're doing. Getting to the game's mechanics, was I fucking around too much or was the tutorial not moving quickly enough for me to know how to defend myself? I need to find out... Nice art, by the way.

Overall, I want them all, and they are on my wishlist.
